Sarah Campbell is the Curator of the Virginia National Guard Museum and the former Curator of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center’s contemporary art collection in New York City. She will be presenting her lecture "Beyond Recuperation: Ending the Marginalization of Black History and Culture in Museums" in October at the Intentionally Digital, Intentionally Black conference hosted by the University of Maryland. She also recently co-authored an article on World War I campaign hats with Alexander Barnes in Military Trader. Campbell is earning her PHD in Art History at Virginia Commonwealth University and began pursuing her MA in Art History at New York University’s Institute of Fine Arts.
